Afternoon Enrichment Classes

Afternoon Enrichment classes in Science, Art, and Nature are now being offered in 8-week sessions! The next sessions begin on Monday, November 8th for Young Scientists or Art, and on Tuesday, November 9th for Nature. Cost for an 8-week, two-day-per-week session is $400.

Fairville Fall Festival

The Fairville Fall Festival is this Sunday, October 24th from 3-5 pm. Please come join your friends in the taxi yard for fun & games including face painting, pumpkin painting, hanging apple bob & pin the leaf on the apple. Volunteers & baked goods are still needed, please see the sign-up sheet on hutch in the school hallway. In case of rain, we will have to cancel this event.

New Head of School Announced

Dear Fairville Families,

On behalf of the Board of Trustees, I am delighted to announce that we have hired Sharon Fichthorn as our Head of School, beginning July 5, 2010. Sharon’s credentials, including a B.A. and a M.Ed. from Widener University, as well as certification in Early Childhood Education, Elementary Education, and as a Reading Specialist, speak to a wealth of knowledge about the educational process. Moreover, her rich background of more than 20 years experience both as a teacher and an administrator clearly will enrich and benefit our school.
